Retention windows
- Account & profile: retained while the account is active; deleted within 30 days of account deletion request (subject to legal holds below).
- Transaction records (deals, contracts, closing data): retained 7 years to comply with state real-estate broker recordkeeping requirements — this overrides account deletion.
- Audit & security logs: 2 years.
- Payment records: 7 years (tax and dispute obligations).
- Email logs: 90 days for deliverability data; 2 years for consent records.
- Backups: encrypted rolling backups purged within 35 days.
Deletion process
When you delete your account, we soft-delete personal identifiers (name, email, phone) from active tables within 30 days, retain the underlying transaction records for the legal hold window, then purge fully.
Client (buyer/seller) data
You are the controller of your clients' data. We process it on your instructions. Delete individual client records via the app; we honor those deletions on the same schedule above.
